Blockbuster Factory

The new immersive theatre show from Cat and Mouse immersive theatre company.
At great expense, we have flown the great American Movie Director Martin Beilsperg to the UK, and teamed him up with legendary playwright Charles Bexley Heath. Together they are, as Martin says “Makin Movies Here!”. Out on the street they recruit stars and crew for their latest Blockbuster, with a little help from Phil the boom guy. Phil, unfortunately, has forgotten all the props, but did manage to bring a whole box of bananas; all kinds of movies from horror to comedy to war to thrillers are played out with every prop replaced by a Banana!

Duo BFriendly bring their own brand of feelgood reggae music and anecdotal humour, with songs about life, loves and the environment with a witty lyrical and singalong style.
With two albums ‘Be Friendly’ and ‘Working Man’, BF say, ‘If we can bring a little sunshine into peoples lives and bring people together and make them more caring and compassionate about the planet we live on, then our mission is accomplished.’

Join in with the junk drumming workshops to create a junk band performance. Learn to play some great rhythms using the drums (including the bicycle wheel drums). Fun, funky and full of silly original songs and rhythms to bring the festival community together. Junk drumming workshops, more fun than you can shake a stick at!

Vegan Queen V

Vegan Queen V is a vegan animal rights activist singer songwriter. She shares a powerful messages of truth, love, compassion and freedom through her songs. Her debut album ‘Freedom Warrior’, released May 2022, sheds light on how animals are treated animals in the animal agricultural industry, and until these animals are living free, unharmed by human activity, we ourselves as humans cannot be free.
As well as performing, Vegan Queen V will also be running a Disney sing-a-long.

We’re excited to welcome Freya Cox back to our festival this year. Freya was the First vegan contestant on the great British bake-off. She has now published her first book on vegan baking called ‘Simply Vegan Baking’. You will be able to buy the book at the festival and Freya will be signing the books as well as joining us in our Young Chefs zone for a baking demo.
Nero the Brave Little Bull

Based on the true story of Nero, a rescue bull who lives at the Retreat Animal Rescue Sanctuary in Kent. Nero’s story teaches us that animals, just like humans, deserve care, compassion and happiness.

Create a YouTube to Spread Veganism Workshop with Family Freedom.
A workshop where you can learn what is required to start and create your own YouTube channel. We’ll work on your channel name, what kind of videos you’ll make and what steps to take!

11 year old JoJo from the Family Freedom YouTube channel will be performing a few of his own songs on his guitar.
Dance with Difference
Jamboree
An explorative, expressive and creative workshop for children age 6 – 12. Together we will explore and identify what it means to be vegan. Children will have space and freedom to find their own way to express what this means for them before collectively creating a story that is meaningful to us all. The story we choose to tell will be created together through writing, movement, music and art using a range of props.
Animal Kind Badge Making
Woodland
Design, draw and colour in an animal kind badge. Get creative as you cover the badge with decorations and vegan messages. Don’t forget to include drawings of your favourite animal! Once your badge is made, you can proudly wear it to encourage others to be kind to animals.

No Frickin Chicken
The tastiest fried ‘chicken’, burgers, loaded fries, shakes and whippy ice cream. Most of the menu is gluten free and hand made. A highlight is the ‘chicken pieces’- pieces of soy chicken, wrapped up in ‘chicken skin’ and coated in 7-spice mix and deep fried till crisp. People are often surprised it’s not actually chicken!
