T-shirt design competition

WIN festival tickets!

Calling all young designers, 18 and under! It’s time to get creative with our festival T-shirt competition to design our festival t-shirt for the Vegan Kids Festival 2023

We are looking for young vegans to create their very own t-shirt which will be made and created into the official festival 2023 t-shirt. 

The competition deadline for entries is 12th February 2023

One lucky winner will have their t-shirt brought to life at our festival, as well as winning a weekend festival ticket for a family of four, including camping!  

The prize

The child who produces the winning design, will receive a weekend ticket to Vegan Kids Festival 2023 for a family of four, including camping!

The brief

  • The design should reflect and promote our festival message of friendship and fun and inclusion.
  • The design should appeal to our audience of vegan children.
  • The design needs to be suitable for the front of a t-shirt
  • Designs must be original and must be the child’s own work, not copied from existing designs or images. 
  • Designs can be hand drawn, painted or electronically designed.

How to enter

Entries need to be jpeg or PDF format and sent via email to fun@vegankidsfestival.co.uk or using file transfer if file is too large for email. 

Please ensure you send the following information in the email:

  • Name of designer
  • Age of designer
  • Please state you have read the competition Terms and conditions.
  • Please also ensure you have your parents’ permission to enter. 

You can photograph or scan your work, but please make sure it is a high resolution image. 

All artwork must be received by 5pm on the 12th February 2023

The judging process
The judges will shortlist 10 designs from all received and eligible entries.
These 10 designs will be showcased on Facebook for 1 week, where people can vote for their favourite design.
At the end of the week the design with the most votes will be declared the winner.

The Design process
Following the announcement of the winning design, our design team will use the winning design to ensure it is print ready and your final design will be submitted to the printers to have your T-shirt made into our festival T-shirt for 2023.

Terms and conditions

  1. This competition is open to children and young adults aged 18 or younger. 
  2. Entry to the competition is free. 
  3. The competition closes at 5pm on the 12th February 2023. Any entry received after this date will not be considered or judged. 
  4. All designs must be original and not copied. 
  5. The winning entrant will submit copyright of the design to the Vegan Kids Festival
  6. Entries will be judged by the Vegan Kids Festival organisers and as part of a public vote. The result decision will be final. 
  7. The prize of festival tickets is not redeemable for a cash alternative. The prize can be transferred if the entrant is unable to make the date, either to next year’s festival or given to another party. 
  8. Vegan Kids Festival can alter the winning design as they deem necessary.
  9. Vegan Kids Festival can use the design on other promotional materials. 
  10. By entering the competition you agree to have you design used for publicity of the Vegan Kids Festival 2023, and as a T-shirt. 
  11. The Vegan Kids Festival reserves the right to declare this competition null and void if none of the designs are suitable.
